Q1 2024 Roundup: Business Finance & Solutions App Trends in Latin America

In the first quarter of 2024, the Latin American market saw significant user engagement with Business Finance & Solutions applications on the Android platform. Sensor Tower provides us with a glimpse into the trends of the top apps in this segment.

PayPal Business maintained a steady user base, with weekly active users starting at 95K and climbing to nearly 94K by the end of the quarter. Downloads for the app showed a slight decrease from 20K to 18K, indicating a solid existing user base.

Payoneer witnessed a fluctuation in downloads, starting the quarter at approximately 9.3K and ending at 6.4K. Weekly active users also saw a slight decrease, from around 38K to 33.5K, over the three-month period.

For SumUp: Payments and POS, the weekly active users experienced a dip from 150K to 139K. Downloads had a peak of 7.8K in mid-January but settled around 6.4K by the end of March.

ADP Mobile Solutions saw a varied number of downloads across the quarter, with a notable peak of 7.9K in late January. Weekly active users showed an overall increase, starting at 23.6K and rising to nearly 28.8K.

The Accounting App - Zoho Books had an interesting quarter with revenue figures ranging from 3 USD to 85 USD on different weeks. Downloads for the app fluctuated, dropping to as low as 403 in late February but recovering to 3.4K by the end of March. Weekly active users saw an overall growth trend, starting at 3.9K and increasing to 5.5K.
